Dr Ong has been great with my girls! I only wish I had known about her sooner when my first was a baby but I’m glad we go to her now.

My recent experience at this clinic left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. My nephew urgently needed medical attention for a fractured finger, but we encountered a complete lack of compassion and understanding from the staff.

Despite the fact that my nephew had Medicaid coverage issues, it was shocking to see the clinic's staff unwilling to provide any immediate help or temporary solutions. It was clear that their priority was not the well-being of the child in pain, but rather bureaucratic procedures.

Common sense would dictate that providing the necessary care should be the immediate concern, and sorting out insurance matters could follow. However, the clinic's rigid approach left us waiting while my nephew's condition deteriorated.

I strongly urge this clinic to reevaluate its priorities and remember that they are in the business of healthcare, where compassion and patient care should always come first. Such a lack of empathy and flexibility should not be tolerated when it comes to the health of individuals, especially children.

we have been going to Dr Ong for about 3 years. He staff is fantastic and always have smiles on their faces. I have had several issues with insurance and they always jumped in to take care of it for me. Dr Ong is wonderful and truly cares about the kids well being. She does not over-prescribe meds and looks for other ways to resolve issues first. I love that about her.
Office is always clean and there is usually some cute cartoon playing on the TV in the waiting room.

I brought my almost 2 year old little girl into this office for a sick appointment today. Her appointment was scheduled at 4:00 and she wasn’t seen until 4:45 which was a weight check. At 5:15 Dr Ong arrived asked brief questions about her being sick and urged testing (RSV, Flu and Covid). All the tests came back negative. I did not receive any care instructions for my sick daughter with recommendations for what she might have. They never informed me of how to treat her symptoms. I was prescribed drops for her eyes. My daughter had a fever in the morning and didn’t in the office yet somehow they want to enforce that she “might” have Covid even thought he results came back negative. Thank goodness I used to go to a better pediatrician who cared for my daughter because this place frightens me. I felt like the two hours I was there for a sick visit was a waste of time because it made my daughter even more upset waiting in a room for no answers other than a bunch of negative test results. I received only a work related excuse and no paperwork on the possible pink eye since I received drops I am concerned why I never received any papers on her symptoms. I will be researching a more professional pediatrics office and not recommend this one to anyone. 2 hours for a sick appointment is really sad and made my daughter being sick even worse having to wait. I don’t want to traumatize my child in any further appointments by waiting hours to even have her weighed. I am looking into a more thorough professional pediatrician who I understand what they are saying and they properly examine my little girl not just jump to testing her with no input for how to make her comfortable now.

Dr. Ong is wonderful!! She is thorough, patient and very well informed on all new processes and Pediatric practices. I've been taking our 8 year old Son to her for 5 years and won't go anywhere else! I highly recommend her and I agree, no matter the circumstances, her doors and even phone are always open to Moms and Dads!! She has Saturday hours and her staff are all very nice and helpful.

Last week we had a middle of the day appointment. My daughter had been sick. They called us back on time, but kept us in the waiting room for over an hour with no explanation and no one popping in to say that they were running late.

Today we had a well child for my son. They called me Friday to see if we could come in early. I said yes and still arrived fifteen minutes early. The time of the appointment came and went and I finally asked. There were FOUR people in the waiting room in front of us and THREE people in the back waiting to be seen. They told me that it would be OVER AN HOUR. We wouldn't see the doctor until after five.

They informed me that everyone wanted an afternoon appointment (not my problem...I had an appointment and was early) and that I should be glad that I took the early appointment because if I had stuck with the original appointment time, I would be waiting even longer.

They had even called me today to confirm that I was coming and made no mention of running over an hour behind. They could have told me that they were running late before I went to the appointment.

My time is important too. I like Dr. Ong, but I'm finding a new pediatrician. I can understand waiting sometimes. I can even understand waiting regularly for thirty minutes. But waiting for twenty minutes to find out that we'd have to wait at least another hour?!

There is also no separate room for sick kids. If you're taking your kid for a well-child, he/she will be at risk.

My family has been going to Dr. Ong's office since 2015. When we initially went, everyone in the office was very loving and helpful, however, over the last 6 to 7 months every time we need to make an appointment we end up leaving so frustrated we vow to never come back.

Wait times are absolutely ridiculous. We just recently went in there last month and we're the only ones in the waiting room. After waiting two hours we started to question what was taking so long . The front staff seemed very clueless and unprofessional. After explaining to them that a three hour appointment is unacceptable for a 1 year (any child), especially when you are the only patient in the building, so they offered me another appointment. I explain to them that I wanted the very first appointment so I was not waiting 3+ hours. So they offered me a 10 AM appointment knowing that they open at eight. When I explain to them when naptime was for my 18-month-old and we can work an appointment around that, they basically told me that it was impossible. Having appointment at Dr. Ong's has turned into a horrible, traumatic experience every time we go. I think We've walked out of appointments more than we've actually seen Dr. Ong.

The whole building is quite disgusting and very poorly kept up. There is dust and dirty everywhere. And I'm not going to get started on all the boogers on the wall and equipment in the examination rooms.

I also feel like Dr. Ong's competency is also seriously in question. Every time we go she always tells me that my daughter is a boy. Yes every single appointment!! She will be wearing a pink dress with her hair done and she still calls her a boy. We have a hard time understanding what she says and she jumps from one conversation to another. During the last couple of visits, she has turned to my fiancé and told him she has never seen him before, that he must be new. When in fact, he is the father of the child and has been to every single appointment since 2015.

If you care about your child, DO NOT take them to this office !!!!!!
