I've been working at ACR Homes for the past two years, and I think my experience here has really changed my life. Working at ACR Homes is definitely not an ordinary job. You're given the opportunity to care for the livelihood of others and meet the physical, mental, and emotional needs of another human's life. Through my time here, I've gained so much experience working with patients, following protocols and support plans, staying calm in difficult situations, and cooperating with other health professionals. But this is not all ACR has done for me, I also made some pretty amazing friends that I look forward to caring for every time I work. I know I won't stay with ACR Homes forever, but I'm definitely not looking forward to the day I leave.

I have been working at ACR as a direct care professional for almost a year and have really enjoyed my experience. I’ve been working for ACR homes for over 2 years and absolutely love the job! I’m starting Physician Assistant (PA) school in a few months and ACR homes has helped me so much to get to this point in my healthcare career journey! I was a little nervous when I first started at ACR. Thru the years (5yrs now) I have been in many positions and Its no longer scary. Training is very helpful as they teach you everything u would need to know. Staff are always there to answer questions and overall its just a great place to work at. You build meaningful connections with the people you take care of; so much so to call them friends. I dont want to work in healthcare once out of college but its still a great experience to have!!!

ACR Homes is an amazing company! I have worked here for almost 3 years and cannot imagine leaving anytime soon. I have formed the sweetest relationships with residents and coworkers I work with. I look forward to going to work and knowing that the work I do is meaningful. I have learned so much working at ACR; I have been able to gain hands-on experience working with medical equipment, learned how to advocate for others, and gained additional experience working collaboratively with others. As a student, I have really appreciated the flexibility that ACR provides; there are shifts 24/7, and my supervisors have always been accommodating to my schedule. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this company, and highly recommend working for ACR!

ACR Homes is a great company to work for! They truly appreciate their employees and provide amazing care for their clients. I started working for ACR in May of 2017. As a direct care professional, I am able to help plan activities for residents and see how much they enjoy life. I highly recommend this company as an employer. I am a full-time college student and they are very flexible with scheduling around my classes. The other employees are great as well, with switching shifts as needed. The environment is very supportive and full of good teamwork.

I worked as a direct care professional for ACR at two different periods throughout undergrad and at the beginning of grad school. I cannot say enough positive things about this company. The care that all residents receive is absolutely unsurpassed in a group home setting, and in healthcare overall. It’s heartbreaking to hear of the troubles with staffing and funding that group home companies are experiencing. ACR truly upholds the highest standards for training and and ethics and I never hesitate to recommend them to future employees or to potential future residents/ families looking for services. My time at ACR will always stay with me- through the lasting memories, the tangible experience I gained, and the incredible connections made with residents.
