I had the privilege of signing up with the YWCA Skills training and upgrading program at their Aylmer Community Services location. From start to finish this has been a wonderful experience, and I couldn’t recommend it enough.
My instructor was knowledgable, professional, and respectful in every aspect. She is committed to the success of her students and creates a positive learning environment for everyone regardless of their academic levels. She understood my time constraints as an adult learner, and helped me set up a learning schedule that allowed me to optimize my time and achieve my goals.
If you are thinking about going back to school, have questions about academic or skills upgrading, this program is a great place to begin.

Provided me a place to stay so I can experience life on my own before college, Allowed me the opportunity to learn a few things from a program they host, allowed me to get cpr training, and allowed me to have a fun time with the events they occasionally host and the workers are amazing, Especially Beth and Shannon

absolute terrible people and total scam lived with them for almost three years and they threw me out like trash because I did what they wanted and after I became self-sufficient I didn't let them hold my hand and baby me like they do all they want is control

my experience at the ywca was horrible. First I was warned by Jeanette that there might be people there who had at one time worshipped the devil. Then the whole time I was there I was harrassed continuasly by almost everyone there. Every single time I would go into the kitchen, I would be followed by a whole horde of people.I contacted Jeanette about that , but guess what? She and Michelle kicked me out instead . So God Bless you everyone at the Ywca in St. Thomas.
