I cannot say enough wonderful things about Skatetown Ice and the incredible team that makes it such a special place. Erica at the front desk is always so warm, welcoming and friendly.

My daughter started out in group lessons and progressed through the group figure skating program. She started taking private lessons with Coach Julia and her progress has been amazing!
Julia is knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly encouraging—she has a unique way of challenging her students while making lessons fun and inspiring. Her attention to detail, technical expertise, and ability to build confidence have transformed my daughter’s skating ability and love for the sport. Beyond her technical coaching, Julia is a mentor and role model, instilling discipline, grace, and perseverance in her students. She celebrates their successes, supports them through challenges, and makes every lesson a positive experience. We feel incredibly lucky to have found such a dedicated and talented coach!
We’ve worked with Naomi as well who is also an incredible coach and mentor! The experience these ladies bring to the figure skating programs is amazing!
The entire staff at Skatetown is friendly and professional, always ensuring a smooth experience whether it’s scheduling lessons, maintaining the rink, or creating a supportive environment for skaters and families. If you’re looking for an outstanding ice skating facility with top-tier coaching, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Have been coming to Skatetown for the past 3 years since my non-skating boys decided they wanted to learn how to play ice-hockey. The staff at learn to skate, and learn to play hockey were excellent. My boys are now in their third season playing for the in-house league and love every minute of it! Coach Philippe (also the fabulous chef at my son's school) and his team of coaches are all amazing. They not only teach the important skills of ice-hockey but also mentor the kids and nurture a caring community of hockey loving friends. Our family is so thankful for Skatetown and everyone who works there.

We went with a group of 40 went for the first time, my kid is very tall and a worker gave her two helpers or walkers even though she knew we paid for one but there were so many not being used, then another employee came very fast to scold and check the bands if we paid for two helpers. Very rude young girl employee, embarrassed my kid and took the helper away. Not allowing to explain.
In this place employees act as if everyone is doing something wrong. Takes the fun away. Management, do better.

Drove here from Chico for the public skate session, when I got on the ice they had 400 people packed like sardines 0 opportunity to move past 4 mph. I asked the skate attendant if they had another rink she tells me we wait until 500 people are on this tiny rink then we open the other rink. Biggest waste of time ever. If your coming here trying to get a workout don’t waste your time 400+ people on one rink is unsafe maybe open one rink for advanced skaters and one rink for kids.

We had a great public ice skating experience. I'm just visiting from out of town, and went on Black Friday with family. So not sure if they had extra events or activities due to that.
Still, compared to all the other rinks I've been to (around 5 or more) this one has great features for young kids. If you have small kids/toddlers they have a sled rental you can strap them into (something I've never seen any other ice skate rink provide), seems like they might've designed it themselves and it works quite well! My 2 year old son was able to securely sit in it, even if I pushed him fast. And they had skates that attached to the shoes of my 2 year old as his feet were too small which is also awesome. Additionally, they had lots of optional activities and bubbles on the ice rink.

Note to the owner: maybe consider selling the ice skating sleds to rinks in Socal (San Diego) 😅 I wish my local ice skating rink had them! I was thinking I couldn't take my son ice skating successfully until he was 3/4 so it was nice to have the ability to do so.

terrible staff and management. The worst employees I've ever seen in my life. I was skating with my boyfriend and the staff girl came up to me saying i shouldn't move the way i am? Apparently she thought i was spinning when i never was. She then tried to talk to my boyfriend by complimenting his appearance. We left immediately, how nasty.

I have NEVER had such a poor experience here. Staff treated me like an idiot because I didn’t know the rules. They asked me to not wear headphones, and not skate in a certain area. While I was standing on the side of the rink, the manager walked up to me and told me that I couldn’t spin (when I literally never spun). The manager gave me such a rude tone and said “We have asked you to not do that before” AND THEY NEVER TOLD ME NOT TO BEFORE! Left crying. Thanks for the experience! I’ll be sharing this with anyone who is considering classes here. Maybe teach your staff to treat people with respect. How am I supposed to go skating when I am being harassed and told that I can’t do literally anything Yeah, have fun here! They treat you like garbage!
