Awesome hotel!!! Super close to the subway stations so you ca get to anywhere in the city within a matter of minutes. Really clean hotel with friendly staff, however Kelvin at the bar was our favorite. He is so sweet and gave us great recommendations on places to eat in the city. We had some great conversations at the bar over the perfect margarita he makes. Make sure you stay here and you go down and say hi and ask him make you a drink, they come out perfect every time! Recommend this hotel 100%!!!

After a 20-year absence, we returned to New York and chose a central location to stay, which proved to be a fantastic decision.

* Genesis, the front desk host, was remarkable; she thoroughly explained the breakfast offerings and how to navigate the self-serve area. She maintained a constant smile, readily answered our inquiries, and actively fulfilled our needs throughout our visit.

*Kelvin, the bartender, was personable, attentive, and skilled at crafting exceptional drinks, which particularly delighted my wife—a key aspect for me. His attentiveness extended to all patrons; during several evenings spent at a nearby table attending to personal office work, I had the opportunity to watch Kelvin in action. It's individuals like Kelvin who are often unsung heroes. As a business owner in Texas, I can only wish for someone who takes care of my business with the same dedication, keeping everyone engaged and ensuring a memorable experience. Based on my observations over several days, not just my interactions, Kelvin undoubtedly deserves a raise he is bringing it in for sure.

* The rooms were compact and a bit cramped, offering limited storage for belongings, even for two people and got another room for my 3 girls. However, with a bit of ingenuity, it was manageable. The room was not only clean but also had a very pleasant scent, a rarity as most hotel rooms, while clean, lack a fresh smell. This one was truly clean and refreshing.
*The hotel is not huge making it perfect for those who prefer a quick in and out without being in the hustle and bustle in the lobby. The building is quite new, ensuring that all rooms are nicely appointed and modern.

*The housekeeping staff is hardworking, active throughout the day, and their dedication is noteworthy. However, the noise they create has made it difficult for us to rest. We woke up early at 6 AM to make the most of our day, planning to return by 5 PM due to the early nightfall. Yet, the staff's conversations, laughter, and the constant slamming of doors as they moved from room to room were quite disruptive. The use of doorstops could help prevent the doors from slamming during cleaning. While their enjoyment of their work is understandable, we had hoped for greater consideration for guests in need of rest. As a result, we were unable to rest before our evening plans and chose to stay in for the night.

Wall aren't that thick so do be mindful of the neighbors. your love life doesn't have to be showcases by how loud your wife is.

Rooms were clean, staff was generally cool/cold in demeanor, 2 out of 3 mornings we had no hot water in January. The elevator seemed to break regularly, and even when it was working, it was particularly slow. I’m currently waiting for it, and it’s taken 10 minutes, and we still haven’t gotten an elevator on floor 32. Looking forwards to carrying our bags down these stairs.

I have never had such a terrible experience at a hotel. First of all there elevators the over 20 minutes every time to go up and down. There was one day where all the elevators were down. I kindly asked the manger if they have a time frame when it will be back up because I needed to get my emergency medication. He never gave me an answer so I had to walk up 30 flights of stairs. That is completely unacceptable. Tell us an answer. I tried calling the front desk 5 different times and nobody ever answered the phone. At checkout I left a sweatshirt in my room. At 1:30pm they told me they have it and will bring it down now. 30
Min later now 2:00 my Uber is about to leave and they still haven’t brought it down so I had to leave without it. Don’t stay here if you are coming to the city. Poor customer service

This is NOT a real hotel. Glorified youth hostel at best. You can hear EVERYTHING from the surrounding rooms. Insane. The windows are drafty and let noise and cold air into the room. Tiny rooms. Crappy elevator that can’t keep up with the volume of people coming and going.
Positive’s- good shower, cleaning service.
Would NOT recommend!

Wouldn’t call this hotel nice in the least- it’s truly a 2/5 star. The location is decent, pretty central to things, but not a nice area. The hotel itself is just okay - very small rooms with VERY thin walls. You can hear what the people in the room next to you are saying. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms are okay and have nice toiletry products. We got in around 3:45pm with a 4pm check in - room wasn’t ready until 4:30 even though I am a Marriott member and stay at Marriott hotels monthly, sometimes multiple times a month. They were also ADAMANT that they don’t do early check in. But overall it’s just not a nice hotel. If you are looking for something reasonably priced though this is the place, guess I just learned my lesson that you truly get what you pay for.

Appreciated kind staff, cleanliness, comfortable bed, location, phone, frig empty & ready to use & coffeemaker.

2 out of my 3 nights I needed to ask for help with loud neighbors. So altho soundproofing was advertised, it is not. I paid the higher cost for a city view. I was disappointed that the window glass was so dirty, making it hard to enjoy. Bed should have a fitted sheet on the bottom rather than flat which comes undone easily. The shower got warm but not hot. Somehow the price I booked w/Hotels.com which included all taxes & fees increased by almost $40 at the hotel.
